Good attitude and good relationships: Good attitude is very important for building a good relationship. And good relationship helps to resolve conflicts. I should treat others calmly and build mutual respect. We have to be courteous to one another and remain constructive even under pressure.

Be attentive to the fact: By listening carefully, I will be able to understand other’s view about the fact, and why the person is adopting his or her position.

Separate the issue from relationship: In any conflict, there is an issue involved. And if I can separate the issue from a conflict then it can be debated without damaging working relationship.

Compromising Behaviour: Compromising behaviour helps to find a solution that will at least partially satisfy everyone.

Outline what is meant by agreed ways of working

Agreed ways of working is how an employer requires an employee to be agreed to work for an organisation according to organisation’s rules and legislations. It is often defines as policies and procedures. The policies and procedures are made up of many pieces of legislations, following national framework, care standard and GSCC practice code which is set by Department of Health and our internal business policy. We are all agreed to work according to the policies and procedure to meet regulators requirements.

Explain how a working relationship is different from a personal relationship

Working relationship	Personal relationship
Working relationship is a relationship where a person works with his colleagues, service users and different professionals under an organisation’s codes of conduct, and has little or no contact out of work. It is strictly professional.	A personal relationship is where one’s personal life, extracurricular activities and social life are involved with other colleagues, service users and different professionals.
Working relationship does not allow arguing; provide opinions, discussing interests and sharing personal life’s problem between participants.	Personal relationship allows arguing, opinions, discussing interests and sharing personal life’s problems between participants.

Explain the importance of full and up-to-date details of agreed ways of working

It is very important that I have a latest written or printed copy of agreed ways of working, as it changes from time to time according to service user’s choices and circumstances, CQC requirements, business insurance policies, health and safety regulations and national crisis. If I do not become familiar with full and up-to-date copy of agreed ways of working, then I will remain unfamiliar to the recent changes. And unawareness of recent changes may cause danger and harm to myself, and the individual I will be working with or surroundings.

There are many different working relationship exists in social care settings. Few are described below-

Describe situations where information normally considered to be confidential might need to be passed on

• When emergency service such as ambulance is called they need to know individual’s personal information to identify and referred the patient. 

• If police or law enforcement officer are involved to investigate any crime then they may need to know anyone’s personal information related to the crime. 

• If it is believed that countries security has been compromised then data protection act doesn’t apply to keep any data confidential.
